Making Card giving relevant for Millennials
Hallmark asked us to find a way to make physical card giving instant and relevant to millennials.
We needed to understand how we could make Hallmark present itself in new ways, where millennials are already engaging. I performed User Interviews to understand millennial behavior, motivations, needs & wants in regard to the context of giving physical cards. Based on insights I gathered, as well as quantitative data about the segment, Facebook was the chosen channel where Hallmark's millennial audience was, so we set out to insert card giving in a new way.
I began by sketching several experiences, from a mobile app that integrates with a facebook app and physical cards, to what we ended up creating
Collaboratively the team chose a direction and I began creating detailed prototypes. During this phase I work very closely with creative & technical teams to explore many possibilities together quickly.
